Working Procedures

We use AutoCAD 2006 with CADS RC to produce RC detailed drawings.

CADS RC was the specifically chosen add-on: it generates the schedules electronically and is widely regarded as the industry standard. the output is an AutoCAD format drawing, with the BBS as an excel sheet; both ideal for any future alterations.

From the client we require the structural general arrangement drawings and the reinforcement requirements. Our preferred format of reinforcement information is marked-up drawings showing type, bar size, grade, cover and lap positions.

Throughout the process, we keep in close contact with the client; ensuring from the outset that the brief is clear.

All work is comprehensively checked before issuing to the clients. The office has its own QA system for documenting and controlling work.
